Lifecycles Workshops. (November 2014)

As a warm up to our EFG London Jazz Festival launch we’ve been busy spreading creativity with students from both the Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School and Sydenham High School for Girls. Using improvised textures inspired by the brand new Lifecycles suite Phil Meadows (sax), Matt Roberts (trumpet) and Zosia Jagodzinska (cello) took on the task of improvising their way to a new piece of music with up to forty students in just ninety minutes. Both schools triumphed in creating a new piece without a note of music written down. A huge thank you to both schools for having us as part of their music programme – we had an incredible time!
