Decade Zero plays Manchester Jazz Festival (Dave Maric/Phronesis)

After a standing ovation at the premiere as part of Cheltenham Jazz Festival, Dave Maric’s Decade Zero returns on Saturday 29th July at the Manchester Jazz Festival. Featuring international piano trio Phronesis alongside eight of our finest strings/winds; Decade Zero takes its name from a piece of research by Friend’s of the Earth, suggesting that the next 10 years is essential for the preservation of our planet. The show takes place at the brand new Stoller Hall at Chetham’s School of Music and is conducted by Chetham’s alumni and eO Artistic Director Phil Meadows. We hope you can join us as we embark on our first Engines Orchestra trip to Manchester.

Here are a few highlights from the first outing and if you’re interested in coming along, click here for tickets.

8PM // – Stoller Hall, Manchester Jazz Festival.

Decade Zero has been commissioned by Cheltenham Jazz Festival, Manchester Jazz Festival and the EFG London Jazz Festival with PRS For Music Foundation also supporting Dave Maric.
